With the Bank Holiday weekend fast approaching, I thought I would issue a quick reminder of what you can see & do around the mere and in Cremorne gardens.

Saurday 25th -- CARNIVAL TIME!!
 Pop along with the family to Cremorne Gardens, spend the afternoon enjoying all the stalls and sideshows, have a drink and something to eat and generally enjoy yourselves - there should be something for everybody.

Sunday 26th--- Ellesmere 10k run.
Fancy trying to be the next Mo Farrah? then try your hand ( or feet) at the 10,000metres - Ellesmere style! Starting from Lakelands school at 11:00a.m, the run will take in some of our glorious local sights and will be trotting along the canal and through the woods and gardens during the following 1/2 hour (or a bit longer for those not yet up to Mo's level!)
